Get Motivated, Eat Healthy

Get Motivated: Eat Healthy

Health Motivation Key 1: Set Realistic Goals to achieve success
The first step to any plan is the most crucial one. Planning the right, achievable goal as per your capacities would predict the long term success. The goal can be achieved by taking small steps time to time. stick to the goals and stay organized. If you set unattainable goals, you're setting yourself towards failure. Instead, you'll be more likely to stick with a diet if you focus on your health and create sensible eating strategies. Setting smaller, attainable benchmarks, like not skipping breakfast for one week, will give you the confidence to continue.

Health Motivation Key 2: Be a part of Buddy System
It's hard to make major behaviour changes when you are swimming upstream by yourself. Finding buddies and involving them in your plans by setting similar goals can greatly improve chances of success. When your spirit starts falling down, having people to call on can provide the support you need to continue. Having a support group to move ahead with, whether it's friends or people from classroom, can make all the difference for diet success.

Health Motivation Key 3: Nourish your body
Motivated eaters nourish their body through a Real Good diet. Real food is minimally processed, made of single or few ingredients, made without artificial sweeteners, preservatives, dyes or flavors
Good food is good to the palate: home cooked and flavourful, good to the body: nutrient-dense and balanced, good to the earth: organic, sustainable with minimally wasteful.

Health Motivation Key 4: Never give up
Eating right is a lifestyle. It is not easy to change habits which we carry since years. There would be road-blockers. Especially in the beginning it may be tough to keep up, but NEVER give up. Hold yourself accountable to the best of your ability and you will never have any regrets.

Health Motivation Key 5: Keep a Maintenance Plan
For many people, making a nutrition challenge is far easier than actually maintaining it for a long time. It's important to remember that healthy eating is a lifelong goal, not a one-time project. If this has been a problem for you in the past, devise a maintenance strategy ahead of time. Maintain your healthy eating habits even after you have completed your challenge. let it become a part of your lifestyle and enjoy it that way.
